The Control Room

Studio A is the heart of Berkeley Street Studios — a world-class recording environment built around the legendary Neve 8068 MkII console. Fully restored to its original warmth and clarity, the console brings a depth and character to recordings that modern digital consoles simply cannot replicate.

The room features Dolby-certified 7.1.4 Atmos monitoring and dual Pro Tools configurations, making it equally suited for traditional stereo mixing and cutting-edge immersive audio production. A large projection screen monitors the live room in real-time.

Studio M — Mix This!

Bob Clearmountain's
Private Studio

Studio M is Bob Clearmountain's personal mixing studio — Mix This! — where he has mixed countless Grammy Award-winning records, iconic live events, and landmark broadcasts. Among the most significant: the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Fire Aid, and the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert. Bob also mixed the Grammy Award-winning Bryan Ferry Atmos record from this room.

The console is more than a piece of equipment — it's a document of history. The mixing board carries plaques recognizing the people and projects that have passed through it, each one a chapter in a story that spans decades of popular music.

Studio M is available by special arrangement for select projects. Please inquire directly to discuss availability and rates.

MixThis! FTA — From The Ashes

Rebuilt by a Community

When fire devastated Studio M, what followed was one of the most remarkable demonstrations of solidarity the professional audio world has ever seen. Under the banner of MixThis! FTA — From The Ashes — the entire pro audio community rallied behind Bob Clearmountain to help rebuild the studio.

Manufacturers, engineers, producers, and friends from across the industry contributed equipment, labor, expertise, and support. The plaques on Bob's mixing board stand as permanent recognition of those who gave their time and resources to bring the room back — names that represent the best of what the audio community can be when it comes together.

Studio G

Podcast Studio &
Green Room

Studio G is Berkeley Street Studios' intimate recording environment — designed for podcast production, voice work, and small-format sessions. The room centers on a handsome wooden table with a professional microphone setup, creating a focused and relaxed atmosphere that's equally suited to long-form conversation and polished audio production.

The space doubles as an artist green room, giving performers a private, comfortable base during live sessions or events. Floor-to-ceiling album artwork, warm lighting, and decades of music history on every wall make it a room people don't want to leave.
